New Haven's Cherry Blossom Festival—April 22, 2018

Each year, New Haven's Cherry Blossom Festival commemorates the 73 Japanese Yoshino cherry trees planted in 1973 by the New Haven Historic Commission in cooperation with the New Haven Parks Department. This year, the festival will feature live salsa music, arts & crafts, face painting, puppet shows, twenty local food vendors and 30+ artists and authors, local non-profits and display tables exhibiting Wooster Square history.

Meriden's Daffodil Festival—April 28-29, 2018

With exciting rides, unique and tasty bites, a craft fair, and an epic fireworks show—all set against 600,000 gorgeous daffodils—the Meriden Daffodil Festival is a favorite Connecticut spring tradition. Over two fun-filled days, enjoy live music, gourmet food trucks, the Little Miss Daffodil pageant, a 5K road race, parade, carnival rides, and “Connecticut’s largest tag sale.” Thanks to the generous local community, parking, shuttle bus service, admission, and entertainment on all three stages is FREE!


Fryeburg's Northern New England Home, Garden & Flower Show—May 18-20, 2018

Fryeburg Fairgrounds is the hot spot this May for anyone looking for home improvement and gardening inspiration. Explore more than 300 vendor booths, along with seminars, cooking demonstrations, and garden and landscape displays. This year’s "Meet the Chefs" theme will be highlighting international cuisine.

Cobscook Bay Area's Down East Spring Birding Festival—May 25-28, 2018

Cobscook Bay hosts one of the best spring events in New England for nature lovers. The annual Down East Spring Birding Festival provides a unique birding experience just in time for spring migration and the breeding season. Experience four days of guided hikes, scenic boat tours, and presentations from a lineup of expert speakers at the Cobscook Community Learning Center. In the evening, relish the tranquility and natural beauty of Down East Maine’s Cobscook Bay area with a sunset cruise.


Nantucket's Daffodil Festival—April 27-29, 2018

Nantucket's annual celebration of all things daffodil includes art shows, tours, an antique car parade, tailgate picnic, window decorating contest, lectures, brunches, and, of course, the island's annual Daffodil Flower Show. Costumes are highly encouraged—especially at the “daffy hat” contest and the children’s parade, for all ages.

Brimfield's Antique Show—May 8-13, 2018

With over 4,500 dealers and 130,000-plus visitors during the course of the week, the largest outdoor antiques show in the country has attracted collectors from far and wide since the 1950s. Extending at least half a mile along Rt. 20, dealers display their wares, from the finest antiques to yard-sale treasures. With so many options, chances are, you won't be leaving empty handed.

Newport's Daffodil Days Festival—April 14-22, 2018

Daffy days are here again! With 866,500 daffodils in bloom, nine days of "daffiness" featuring parades, a doggie costume contest, music, bike tour of the daffodils, a car rally and exhibit, and so much more. Free parking during the event means you can enjoy the day without meter-feeding interruptions.

Westerly's Virtu Art Festival—May 26-29, 2018

The 22nd Annual Virtu Outdoor Arts Festival in downtown Westerly's Wilcox Park will feature the works of 185 talented artists selected from around the country. Held in rain or shine, guests will enjoy live music, fine food, and a kids’ craft area offering “make it and take it” activities. Admission is free.
